Hello, I’m Katie.
I am an English-speaking counselor with experience facilitating Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) in both group and individual treatment settings. I ofter a warm and safe space to work together to help you become you. I understand that when life doesn’t feel like it’s working, you often don’t want it to be this way. Often it feels like this isn’t me, this isn’t how I want to show up for myself or my family or my friends, but I have also tried so many things and it has not worked.
I have my Masters degree in Clinical Psychology and over 8 years of experience seeing people in healthcare and outpatient clinical settings. I have worked with many clients with complex situations, and have found that my clients typically are smart, able to function at fairly high levels (though they often feel that no one would think they are high functioning if they really knew what they felt inside), and are going through a rough spot or simply looking to give purpose and meaning to their lives. I work with both individuals and couples conducting our sessions together through an online platform.
